R.N.

It's official! I looked up my name on the CA BRN, and it was there, appearing like a little neon light in the morning.

I passed the NCLEX!

So, now I am DEFINITELY going hiking in Glacier.

Trauma junkie, a little twisted. I'm addicted to adrenaline, cycling, rafting, skiing, the wilderness, costumes, glitter and helping other people. Occasionally found nomming bacon. I absolutely love being a nurse. And a nurse practitioner. I begin my adventure as an Adult-Geri Acute Care NP, and I was a UCSF MEPN student. Often found in the mountains, either the Eastern or Western Sierras, the Panamints, the Whites, exploration is the name of my game. Long time Burning Man attendee, and I work as a Medical Supervisor on Playa. If you apply to volunteer, I've read and approved your application. Comfortable in high heels, flip flops, or faux fur dance gear, I live life to the fullest - or at least I try to.

Current Favorite Recipe

One happy evening:

Ingredients:
Wine glass
Bottle of favorite red or white
Corkscrew
Lack of stuff to do, lots of girlfriends at your house, and/or blatant procrastination with a deathwish for the morning

Instructions:
Grasp bottle in non-dominant hand. Apply corkscrew. Twist. Bottle is opened when popping sound is heard.
Pour into glass. Taste, chug, sip or cheers, depending on your mindset.
Repeat until empty, OR until common sense takes over and tells you that maybe you should drink some water.
If you cannot remove cork, this is a sign that your job is done for the night.

Utter Procrastination.
